Follow me

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Matthew 16:24 KJV

If you don't deny yourself you can't carry your cross and you can't follow Christ. You will always get in the way.

It's not about you but about what Christ wants you to be. Christ wants you to have peace and truth but you have to deny yourself. He wants you to have life and to have it more abundantly. Don't get in your own way or in his way. Carry your cross and follow him. That's how to be a disciple of Christ
