Faith and healing

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,  And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,  When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.  For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.  And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
Mark 5:25-29

Somehow one has to wonder how this woman was able to cope with this difficult ailment for 12 years especially as her condition grew worse. The doctors would have also tried everything they could but the cure could not be found. Was she the only one with this sickness? The answer is not very obvious but there were many diseases in those times as there are now and without cure too.

Nobody wants to be in such a helpless or hopeless situation. Through it all she found faith and her testimony pushes out doubts about the power of God and our faith in God. When everything we once put our hopes on fails, we turn earnestly to God. As long as man wants to depend on himself or his abilities he will come to a limitation and realize that God is unlimited in his powers. Don't limit God in your situation. Open up your heart to him. He is a mighty God and nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible with Him.
