Everyone loves to receive good gifts and God knows how to give the good and perfect gift. God made us in his own image and gave us his breathe. God gave us his Son and then the gift of salvation and eternal life through Jesus. God is love and the Father of lights because in him is no darkness. God does not change and there's no shadow of turning by changing.
God is interested in our well being and is not quick to punish but willing to see us embrace his love for us.Many who run away from God or are scared of God have not been taught or shown the love of God. Love the Lord your God with all your heart because he loved you first not because of his good gifts alone.
