These people were so sure that they looked like grasshoppers and that the giants looked at them that way was because they were trapped in the seeing is believing mindset. They were so sure because they saw with their eyes that they were giants. They even found out these giants were sons of Anak. They felt very helpless and hopeless. For them it would have been better not to go at all because it was simply impossible because of the giants.
How many times have you told yourself this excuse that you cannot succeed because of the giants everywhere and how you are so small and insignificant. You may even console yourself that they see you that way. This is not the mentality God wants us to have. With God you have to believe and then you will see his glory. You need to have vision but first you must believe in that vision for it to come to pass because no one puts all his energy and resources into what he does not believe in. Vision is being able to interprete the present as well as the future.
There are giants everywhere, yes everywhere. There are giants in every industry and it looks impossible to challenge the giants. What you need is the right mindset and the strategy to execute like a giant and see yourself as a giant even if you're small. No giant became a giant overnight and no one gave them permission to become giants. They became giants because they believed so. You can become a giant if you start small. You have to challenge known beliefs and pull down the limiting barriers. God's promise of milk and honey does not fail. Do not be afraid of giants because you are a giant!
