So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord , and find the knowledge of God.

Parents start teaching and training their children from very early so that they can receive wisdom and understanding. Part of the training involves schooling with children starting from pre-school as the children cry and later yearn for knowledge.
The wise parent teaches the children to seek knowledge and understanding as one searches for silver and treasures then they will get to understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. There are books on training children but it is wise to start early enough and to pray for them as well.
