Proverbs 16:3 KJV
We all have to work as there's no provision for laziness or mediocrity. We cannot sleep on the bed all day and expect miracle money in the bank. When that happens it's an exception and not the rule. However, we depend on God to bless the work of our hands because He is the one that gives us power to get wealth.
Some people have said that there is no need for God and they just decide to work all their lives as if there is no God. Learn from Solomon how work alone does not define the sole purpose of man. God created man to work in the garden but He came looking for that man as he worked I the garden to have fellowship with him. God desires that we have fellowship with him. That's why we commit our works unto the Lord that He may establish everything we have planned to do.
When God is out of the equation then man can do anything for money including rituals because all that matters to him is money. Money and material mattered to the prodigal son but not for long as he soon came back to his father. Don't become a slave to work and money, learn to live a more purposeful life using money as a tool. Stay connected with God in fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ.
