Confession

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.   But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 10:32-33

Your confession is very important. You confess what you believe. This is the very step of faith in following Jesus. If we confess Jesus to men, Jesus will confess us to God the Father.
We can surely overcome fear of what people will think if we boldly declare Jesus the moment we have experienced His power.

Confess what you want into your life. Keep speaking it. When we pray we exercise our faith in God who is able to do all things.

The flip side of confession is denial. What do you think was the reaction of Jesus to people's negative confessions while He was on the earth? Jesus did not deny us but forgave us before we even thought of confessing Him as Lord and Saviour.
