Focus

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

How can you stand out from the crowd amidst the stiff competition in the world today? Have you identified what you are good at and ready to share it with the world? Don't start with the most complex things instead start by breaking it down to the simplest and get those simple steps done. The problem with most of us is that we get stuck trying to start with the complex part of the project or even trying too many things at the same time. To achieve anything in life you need to stay focused on every endeavour, overcome the challenges and then tell the world your success story. Nothing good comes easy in this life and there are no genuine shortcuts to success.

Avoid distractions as you progress, the world will become smaller and the project may become even smaller while you are working on it. Remember that the project if carried out successfully has the potential to bring about a change in your life and in the world. That involves seeing the BIG picture with the mind's eyes. Those who have contributed to this world were once unknown until they showed us what we all thought was impossible.

 Avoid excuses because everyone has one or more than we can imagine. There will be challenges and enough reasons why it seems you cannot carry out your project to completion. Capital might appear as a major excuse but there are always more. Projects with enough resources including capital are not fail-proof hence you really have no excuses. The best time to start any venture is now. Do not procrastinate with the mindset that you will have enough resources in future. To become the best in anything you have to do it better than anybody can but if you don’t focus on the goal, you may not even come near the best. If you want to be a celebrated sportsman, painter, actor, singer or anything you have set your mind on then the best time to start is now.

You may be multi-talented or multi-skilled but remember that every skill cannot put food on the table at the same time. Focus on the outstanding talent or skill. Give your best at every part of the project as if the whole world is watching and it will not be long before the whole world watches you on the big stage. I have overcome many hurdles in life by focusing on what really matters. Stay motivated and focused.
