Power of resurrection

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Philippians 3:10‭-‬11 KJV

How do you know Christ and the power of his resurrection without fellowship with him? Can two walk together except they agree? When James and John desired to seat at the right and left in his kingdom, Jesus asked them if they could drink the cup he drinks or the baptism that he was going through. The seat of honour and power comes with its sacrifice. You must be ready to face the challenges without looking back. It's not for the weak or naive who turn back at the slightest suffering.

By any means attain unto the resurrection of the dead is to live with the hope of life after this very one. You only live once does not work for anyone who wants to experience resurrection of the dead. Without resurrection, life becomes hopeless. Christ is the first fruit of all those who have fallen asleep. There is resurrection.  Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus on the transfiguration mountain. Jesus warned his disciples not to tell anyone until he had been raised from the dead.
