Mark 14:38 KJV
We are to keep watch and pray or else we fall into temptation. Do we keep watch with eyes closed? We have to be intentional about what we want and what we do not want and pray that the Holy Spirit helps us to do what is right. The spirit is ready but we have to train the flesh that is weak. The battle is always between the Spirit and the flesh and the mind is the battleground of life.
There are times when we feel very strong and can overcome temptation without so much hassles but there are other times we feel very weak and vulnerable. At all times we must remember Jesus who was tempted in every way yet was without sin. Keep watch and pray.
