Crisis and favour

And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.  Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
Genesis 45:4-5

Joseph understood their dilemma so he encouraged his brothers to forgive themselves as he has forgiven them. Joseph also understood that God turned around his crisis into favour so that he could save or preserve many lives even though Joseph did not know this at the time.

Even when people have forgiven us we can still find it hard to forgive ourselves. Don't keep replaying the past in your mind. Acknowledge your error and seek ways to address it and move on.

Not every crisis is meant to destroy you. Some crisis can take you where you never expected. It may come as a crisis to you but God will turn it around for your good. Do not let a crisis go to waste, watch out for what God wants you to do in such situations.
